Sandy Mush Community Center is the heart of our community, bringing neighbors together through meaningful programs, events, and services. From our food pantry to youth programs, senior activities to cultural celebrations, we’re dedicated to strengthening the bonds that make Sandy Mush a special place to call home.
Our Mission
The Sandy Mush Community Center is a charitable 501(c)(3) organized for the benefit of the Sandy Mush community with a focus on, but not limited to, these purposes:
- Strengthen the sense of community and awareness of community history and its agricultural heritage.
- Increase educational and health and wellness opportunities.
- Increase preservation efforts, including the historic Sandy Mush School and grounds.
- Strengthen and support community organizations.

Community Library
Access free books, resources, and a welcoming space for reading and learning. Our library serves as a quiet retreat and educational hub for all ages.

Facility Rentals
Need a space for your event? Our community center is available for rentals, perfect for celebrations, meetings, and gatherings.
Food Pantry

Book Club
Join us for thoughtful discussions and great company at our monthly book club meetings! We meet on the fourth Thursday of each month at 2:30 PM in the SMCC Community Room.
Fiber Friends
Stay informed and connected! Our Fiber Friends textile group brings together crafters, knitters, crocheters, weavers, and fiber enthusiasts of all skill levels.
Yoga
Find balance, flexibility, and peace through our community yoga sessions. Whether you’re a beginner or experienced practitioner, our classes welcome all levels.
